Welcome to our team. Here at Ambar Kelly we have a wealth of knowledge and experience. The business was started in 2003 by the talented Managing Director’s innovative idea and has since evolved with the expertise of the team.

    Managing Director

    Founding Director of the company, a civil engineer with a wealth of experience as a project manager for main contractors in the UK, Middle East and Caribbean.

    Company Director, Nick’s focus is on sales and business development. He has an easy style described by some as “unique”.

    Claire Kendall

    Financial Director

    Company Director, dog loving camera shy Claire is responsible for the financial stewardship of the company as well as looking after CE certification and FORS.

    Production Manager

    Having initially joined Ambar Kelly in 2017 as a Principal Worker, Michal returns the team as a Production Manager and has a wealth of experience in the construction industry. Michal brings invaluable expertise and a passion for innovation to the team.

    Rachael Groves

    Contracts Manager

    Rachael gained her technical experience with a frame contractor. Starting at Ambar Kelly as an estimator, she gained a keen understanding of multiple pricing and construction requirements for riser shafts. Over the years Rachael has built an excellent reputation with our clients for professionalism & integrity, working on both new build and refurbishment projects of note.

    Contracts Manager

    Charlie has a wealth of experience in architectural & structural steel installations. Coming to Ambar Kelly as a contracts manager, having developed those skills working for a sizable subcontractor. His easy style, teamwork and can-do attitude have built credibility with our principal contractors, working with the many interconnecting trades associated with riser shaft construction.

    Sam Cubitt

    Senior Project Coordinator

    Sam leads up our project coordinators who primarily work in a 3D enviroment using Trimble Tekla software, integrating RiserSafe using the available information from drawings and models from the project team.

  • Nick Spencer

    Senior Project Coordinator

    Working with the main contractors, BIM coordinator Nick models RiserSafe® in Tekla with M&E information provided by the M&E contractors in IFC format to include RiserSafe® in the project model. We can of course work in 2D if required for smaller projects.

  • Keron Goodwin

    Project Coordinator

    Part of our 3-D modelling service is to have Keron working with client teams to develop riser detail in the virtual world, teasing out buildability challenges, which often go undetected until they surface during construction. This helps develop the client team’s riser strategy with our experience on passive fire protection, drywall, MEP service installations, saving cost, time and designing out safety issues. 

  • Louie Coleman

    Junior Project Coordinator (3D modeller)

    Louie came to us offering to work for free in order to demonstrate why he would be a suitable candidate for the junior project coordinator (3D modeller) position. The suggestion blew Alex away and he offered Louie a part time position on a month trial. Louie has done so well and he has now been employed with Ambar Kelly since the start of the year.
