In January 2020 Ambar Kelly acheived carbon neutral organisation status, a full three decades before the government’s 2050 net zero target.

Sustainability is a business method that ensures safety, efficiency and responsibility in a manner that protects Ambar Kelly’s employees, communities and the environment, now and in the future.

Our daily operations align business performance with a commitment to environmental, social and community stewardship encompassing three elements:

1. Reduce the environmental footprint of our operations

1.1 Transport goods in a manner that minimises community and environmental impacts by maintaining FORS Gold status.

1.2 Reduce fuel, energy, water and other resources required to manufacture RiserSafe.

1.3 Reduce waste through smarter production software and increase recycling efforts.

2. Engage openly on environmental issues.

2.1 Communicate regularly with customers and employees on sustainability goals and efforts.

2.2 Provide customers with the carbon footprint of the products they are purchasing from Ambar Kelly and demonstrate how these are being offset in worldwide accredited schemes.

2.3 Increase transparency and disclosure of our sustainable performance.

3. Support sustainable development.
