NEWS: GOING CARBON NEUTRAL
February 19 2020
Ambar Kelly, manufacturers of the total riser-zone solution RiserSafe®, is pleased to announce it is recognised as a carbon neutral organisation, after offsetting 84 tonnes of carbon dioxide by supporting climate change projects across the globe.
The company’s proactive decision to aid projects, including the reduction of deforestation in Brazil and providing geothermal power in Indonesia, signifies the company’s allegiance to combatting the biggest threat to biodiversity and humanity to date.
Ambar Kelly received its recognition from assessors Carbon Footprint Ltd, an organisation which offers environmental and carbon management for businesses.
The riser zone expert was also praised for its decisive move to 100% renewable energy, a further example of the company’s commitment to the climate change crisis.
Speaking on the importance of going carbon neutral, Alex Bardett, Managing Director, said: “We are extremely pleased to be a certified carbon neutral company. Climate change is a pressing, inescapable issue, and it is crucial for businesses across all industries to make a conscious effort to reduce their carbon footprints.”
“We all have a responsibility to take action against climate change. Hopefully, our decision to be carbon neutral will inspire our friends and colleagues in the construction industry to join us in the effort to make a positive difference where it matters most.”
